In an article entitled “12 Ways Libraries Are Good for the Country”, Leonard Kniffel mentioned the different advantages and importance of having a library in a country. I agree with all the statements mentioned in this article, and this gave me a clearer idea as to why the government must invest in improving the libraries and how citizens must use the library resources in their lives. I like to point out how it sustains democracy because some Filipinos, even some policymakers, are still not educated enough regarding political and social issues because fake news is prevalent nowadays. I hope everyone will make use of credible resources so that we can all make knowledgeable decisions and ideas regarding public policies and social issues.

Growing up as a Library Kid

In my experience, libraries are a great place to study, and I do consider it as my sanctuary. It is conducive for learning and productivity because the resources that I need, such as books and the internet, are available. With these experiences, I could tell that libraries helped me not just in my education but also in nurturing my creativity and having a better perspective to make wise decisions for my life.
